Worked 29 years for a major consumer products company in Research and Development. Developed new and improved products involving formulation, pilot plant process development, and commercial scale process implementation. Managed and coordinated individuals and teams in the development area. Managed department budget. International assignments in the Philippines, Mexico, and Venezuela.

At the same time, built a real estate rental business to provide employment for my unemployed father. Acquired and financed properties. Upgraded and remodeled properties. Managed all financial, maintenance, rental, and daily service needs. My father and I were the only employees.

Built and co-designed a passive solar home in the US working with a passive solar home builder/architect. Built and co-designed a retirement home in Mexico, for my parents, working with a builder architect.
